“ The restaurant is located in a strip mall but don't be fooled. After you valet your car and walk in, you forget that you're in Monroe. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We were meeting friends and were seated immediately. We had fabulous service from beginning to end. Everyone who helped us was so nice and took care of everything we needed. They were happy to help serve all of the appetizers and pasta courses. Pasta was good perfectly and the sauces were delicious. For the mains the pork chop and Bronzino were all very popular. I went with the cod. It was very fresh but there was too much sauce and took away from the dish. We ended the night with tiramisu. It was a large portion and more than enough for us all to get a few spoonfuls. Worth it to come for the service alone! ”

“ We've been wanting to try this steak house for over a year and I finally remembered far enough in advance to book for a large party. Everything from the food, the service, and ambience was great. Everything I expected and more. The steak was cooked to perfection, the mashed potatoes were extra buttery and creamy, and the spicy rigatoni pasta was amazing! The tiramisu was the best tiramisu I've ever had. It is pretty however going with a large group and sharing a lot of dishes was nice to be able to try everything. Not your typical Friday dinner spot, more of a special occasional. Overall great experience and the hype is real! ”

“ What a delicious dinner! Appetizers were delicious , we had the beet salad and grilled octopus . Our steaks were delicious as well - a ribeye and a skirt . Sides were amazing - mashed potatoes and creamed corn . Everything was very tasty , presented beautifully and the service was excellent as well. Dessert and cappuccino were great as well . Our server was Johnny and he was a well informed , pleasant and helpful server!! Highly recommend . ”

“ I'm being a bit giving on the 4 stars. Maybe my expectations were sky high, but I truly have had many better dining experiences. The place is absolutely not a looker from the outside. Very converted strip mall vibes, but not in the best way. Our server was attentive and pleasant enough. I did like the added touches with how they present your BYOB--we brought bubbly as it was our anniversary. Also, were greeted with a Happy Anniversary when we walked in, which was a very nice touch. Food was pretty run of the mill, I have to say. My husband liked his stuffed clams but they were super small. My beef tartare was very fresh and tasty, but my tagliatelle was super bland. I waited to doctor it up at home and it was much better.. I did enjoy the pasta.. I believe they make it there, it was just not seasoned well. We did not stay for dessert. I feel like I may come back and try other items on the menu. But, New Jersey has SO many dining options that make it a very competitive landscape... so, this wasn't bad at all. It just didn't live up to the hype. ”

“ Our "mini Yelp Group" met for dinner on July 20, and it was terrific, as expected. The 6 of us get together every 2 months (trying to find a restaurant new to us. Success! Full disclosure - Jaspers is in a strip mall and you can easily pass it by. The menu is extensive - from a killer 45oz Tomahawk Steak to some interesting pasta dishes. Appetizers and sides are sprinkled around the menu, making it a little difficult to decipher. Challenge accepted! Appetizers consisted of Slab Bacon glazed with Bourbon Barrell aged Maple Syrup and mixed peppercorns. We also enjoyed the Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms (a really. creamy filling). Entrees - I ordered and thoroughly enjoyed the Pacccheri Diavolo (a seafood Fra Diavalo with no shells on anything, making it really easy to eat). It was served with with with pasta noodles and a nice, spicy Tomato-Basil sauce. My wife ordered the Misoyaki Butterfish - Glazed Black Cod with Crispy Rice and Baby Bok Choy (nice kick to it as well). We also ordered their special Creamed Corn and it was delicious. Tim went with the Day Scallops Special, Sue chose the Halibut alla Piastra - Lobster Rotolo, NJ Corn with roasted Pepper. Brian and Jan shared a beautiful NY Strip and a Caesar Salad. Tim and Sue had the Butterscotch Creme Brulee' and we all enjoyed a nice cup of Amercano coffee. Jaspers is BYOB, always a good thing. Our server was Nichole H and she was terrific - very knowledgeable about the menu items. We will definitely return - reservations strongly recommended! ”

“ We had Jasper Stone on our radar for a while now and finally made it on a Saturday night. The restaurant is modern and beautifully adorned with rose trees. This spot is trendy, gets packed, and tends to be loud. The center tables are close to each other so be prepared to speak up. Service was very good. Adam, our server, knew his craft well. Food was top notch. Appetizers Celery Caesar salad Beef Carpaccio Entrees Dover sole Spaghetti Nero with crab Mushroom Gnocchi Meatballs Dessert Apple cobbler Bread pudding Jasper Stone offers a cool vibe, great service, and amazing food. It is a destination and true gem in Monroe. ”

“ Waiter was super nice and energetic, came around a decent amount. We had the Brussels sprouts and tuna tacos as an appetizer. The tacos looked like mostly carrots but once I took a bite you can taste super fresh and delicious tuna so that was a nice surprise! Brussels sprouts also very good with cheese and I think bulgar mixed in? I had the pancetta wrapped halibut which was really good and my boyfriend had the filet which he enjoyed. He got fries on the side - omg their fries are the most delicious ever and they gave a huge portion! We tried the new brownie sundae for dessert - the cake was light, flavorful and super fresh I loved it all. The couple things that were interesting is that the two seater tables are super close together, they have valet parking in a super small parking lot in a mini strip mall ? They have one women's bathroom and one men's but everyone seemed to use either depending on which is open. The inside is dark, elegant with beautiful rose lit trees. The tables have lamp lighting that also gives a nice effect. It is surprising it's BYOB as some of the other reviews say, but it is nice as the food is pricey. So so delicious though - I'm already craving the tuna tacos again!!! ”
